Lucinda Everist joined the studio after winning the Nexus Designs Janne Faulkner Prize for Design Excellence at Melbourne’s RMIT in 2024.

Prior to completing an Associate Degree in Interior Design and Decorating, Lucinda worked in the fashion industry, in which trends come and go apace. She relishes the longevity of interior design and has a genuine enthusiasm for finding solutions that are highly personal and will endure.

She brings a complementary skill set of acute observation, careful consideration and deep curiosity to her role at Nexus Designs, where she is honing her ability to bring ideas and interiors to life.

Creating spaces tailored for individuals to engage with in their own way and have their own needs met is what drives her, and she works to create interiors that can evolve over time as required.

Lucinda is swiftly making her mark in the studio thanks to the creative depth and meticulous attention to detail she brings to each project.

Outside of work she enjoys sewing, playing tennis and making art.
