The transformation of this delightful c1890 Victorian house is a true expression of our client’s passions for food, wine, family and friends. Entirely reimagined for modern living while retaining classical references and proportions for visual flow and continuity, this home is a collection of flowing, light-filled spaces with rigorous functionality and seamless elegance.
Designed for the intimacy of two, while expansive enough to accommodate 20 more, this is a carefully considered response to known and anticipated patterns of living; from the precise storage requirements for meat slicers, premium wines and Venetian handbags to the simple strength of improved indoor/outdoor connections.
The Cardinal project was delivered by Nexus Designs prior to it’s closure in December 2025.
